One thing we haven’t noticed being seriously considered is how the COVID-19 virus is going to impact the career and study choices of young people? Will it increase the number of young people interested in pursuing careers in science or politics? Could it negatively impact on the aspirations of young people to pursue more precarious careers such as freelance, sole-trader or casual working positions after seeing such extensive job losses across the country and globally.

How will COVID-19 impact on the career and study aspirations of young people?

How is the COVID-19 virus going to impact on the career and study choices of young people? Will it increase the number of young people interested in pursuing careers in science or politics? Could it negatively impact on the aspirations of young people to pursue more precarious careers such as freelance, sole-trader or casual working positions after seeing such extensive job losses across the country and globally?

To test this out, we at CareerHQ have put together a brief survey that only takes 4-5 minutes. If you are between the ages of 14-21 or have children of this age, we would welcome the opportunity to get to know how this experience is impacting on you/them.
